The Wyckoff's

Funny moments exist in all relationships. Few relationships however are made up of two comedians, which share each of those funny, awkward and sometimes embarrassing moments with an audience as a married comedy team. The struggles of co-existing are wrought in each hilarious detail on stage for all of us to share. Enjoy a stand-up & situational comedy experience with two of the funniest comedians married today: The married comedy duo of Doug Wyckoff and Teresa Wyckoff.

Doug & Teresa met in Hawaii, performing comedy. They immediately realized that as their personal relationship grew, all their material ended up being about each other, their relationship, dating in general and everything that goes along with that. It didn't take long before they joined forces co-headlining a sold out duo show in Portland, then expanding it to several Hawaiani islands. Later, they expanded their relationship when Doug proposed at a comedy show. In quick order, they moved to Oregon, where they did the "family thing" with Doug's teenage son who lived with them full time. Their material only grew in depth as they mitigated family, a wedding, small town politics and marriage. They used this new material to evolve their touring show. They then spent a couple years performing around the Northwest, from Casinos to Comedy Clubs in-between football games and wrestling matches.  When their son graduated high school and departed for a year abroad, they decided to tour the entire US - with the goal of performing in all 50 states.  Currently, they have spent more than 4 months performing in over 40 states, with almost 50 headline shows. They only have a few states left to complete a 50 state national "Newlywed" comedy tour and they've now settled in NYC where they also perform regular shows throughout the area as they check off each remaining state from their list.

In 2016, they are currently planning on taking their show on two european tours, one middle east tour and a month in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

Their touring show, The He & She Show, is a live stand up comedy date night experience that can be done either as a PG-13 or “R” rated naughty version. It is an interactive show using marriage advice drawn from the audience while weaving in each of comic’s own stories, jokes and experiences together seamlessly with audience suggestions. This format ensures that no two shows are ever the same. They have had shows all over the world including a the month of August 2016 in Edinburgh, Scotland for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and shows from Paris to Cairo.  

They also produce the show "Date Night" a showcase where comedians answer dating, sex and relationship questions. The show was nominated for "Best New Show" at the Creek and the Cave in New York City in 2015 where it was a monthly show. Date night is currently a monthly show at New York Comedy Club, the 4th Sunday of every month. 

Doug Wyckoff

Doug Wyckoff is a seasoned and established comedian in his own right. He was also a founding member of the famed Hawaii comedy group and production company: Power Up Comedy. He can be seen on Grey's Anatomy, CSI New York and if you look closely you can see him in the box office hit Bridesmaids. Doug is an irreverent stand up comedian whose obstinate humor is universally offensive to all creeds, races, and cultures. He is non sequitur in his comedic performances, a lone wolf howling at the moon yet a leader of his pack, at least in age, and in his own mind. He brings laughter wherever he performs: from the world famous Comedy Store to the monthly shows on Maui and clubs across the mainland. He headlined around the country from Casinos to comedy clubs and even a kids show. He has co-headlined with The He & She Show all over the world.

Teresa Wyckoff

Teresa Wyckoff, Teresa Wyckoff, is a sarcastic, dry and witty comedian with embarrassing and usually awkward moments that have become comedy jewels for all of us to share in. Originally from the Portland Metro area, she didn’t start performing stand up comedy until she moved to North Carolina and later New York City. Wanting to live somewhere just as expensive as New York but warmer she moved to Maui where she met comedian Doug Wyckoff and became one of the founding members of Power Up Comedy. Her now husband Doug moved back to the mainland where they were based in Oregon, the NYC and now here in SLC. Her unique brand of comedy is subtly a bit naughty but wrapped in an innocent and sarcastic package. Teresa has co-headlined with The He & She Show on assorted Hawaiian Islands and in over 200 cities  in 47 states on the mainland. She is expanded to the world stage with shows in Europe, Egypt and a month in Scotland, performing every day with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
